Red Nose Day 2021

We had lots of fun celebrating Red Nose Day. Children came to school with crazy hair and a joke to share. We are very proud of our children for raising money for this worthy charity and living out part of our school vision 'contributing to our school and wider community'.  read more

Oak Class March News

In Maths we have looked at multiplication and division strategies. Some children have been using manipulatives and building arrays while others have been using the formal written method of short multiplication, long multiplication, short division and long division. Year 4 also focused on sequencing with patterns and numbers and Year 5 and 6 had a focus on understanding algebra. In English the children continued our book ‘Coming to England’ where they made links to Floella’s life.... read more

Ash Class March News

Ash Class have been busy settling back into school, after eight weeks of online learning. They have been busy reviewing their phonics and maths - and preparing goodies ready for Mother's Day.
