This month Ash class have started their new topic ‘Celebrations’. We have learnt about a number of different celebrations; birthdays, Bonfire Night, Diwali and Hanukkah. Soon we will learn about Christmas! The children have enjoyed lots of different activities this month, such as staging their own birthday party, writing birthday cards, making potato latkes for Hanukkah, creating Diya lamps for Diwali and thinking of and writing their own firework noises. Our junior children have been taking part in the Dragon's Apprentice Project raising money for the Hertford and District Food Bank. They designed Christmas decoration using natural materials gathered from our Forest School. Today, they made over £150 selling them at Asda, Ware. Theyll now be selling even more at the school gates. In January, they will present their project to the board of local 'dragons'. Well done children!! read more

Exciting news! Our Governing Body has decided that our school will federate with Thundridge School from 1st April 2022. This will mean lots of opportunities for the schools to work together more closely and benefits for children. read more
